High-Availability Clusters on ProLiant Servers

 <  Day Day Up  >

HP's Web site contains valuable information on ProLiant solutions for high-availability clusters and Datacenter at http://h18022.www1.hp.com/solutions/enterprise/highavailability/microsoft/index.html. A search on keywords "Clusters", "High Availability", and "Datacenter" will produce a wide variety of documents on various configurations for clustered applications such as PeopleSoft, Exchange, and SQL. One particularly helpful document is the "HP Best Practices for Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 and 2003 Cluster Deployments," located at http://h71019.www7.hp.com/ActiveAnswers/Render/0%2C1027%2C6638-6-100-225-1%2C00.htm. In addition, an excellent reference that provides a step-by-step architecture guide is Microsoft's "Prescriptive Architecture Guide I and II." This is a collaborative document with Microsoft and several vendors , including HP, and references ProLiant Solutions in various datacenter environments and applications. You can access this at http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/msa/idc/all/solution/en-us/pag/pag1/pag1c00.mspx.
