Application Center Server

As of this writing, new versions of Application Center are currently planned. See http://www.microsoft.com/applicationcenter/evaluation/roadmap.asp for the official party line from Microsoft. The functionality will gradually be merged into future version of Windows and other server applications. For Windows Server 2003, SP2 of Application Center 2000 is required as a minimum for support. Application Center offered a management UI for NLB cluster. The Application Center management is richer than the NLB manager and offers functionality that is not currently available in Windows Server 2003 out of the box.
