NOTE Note that, at the time of this writing, there is no Mac support for ColdFusion MX Server.
Hardware requirements vary between operating system platforms and ColdFusion Server editions. In addition, because ColdFusion MX is a Java-based architecture, you will need to have the Java Runtime Environment ( JRE) on your computer. Don't worry if you do not already have it installed. ColdFusion will install the most appropriate version during setup.
