Since this lesson is about fixing and outputting completed sequences, you will work with sequences you've already completed from other lessons.
1.
Launch Final Cut Pro and open the Lesson 16 Project file.
2.
Close any other open projects.
3.
Play the Racing Promo sequence in the Timeline.
This sequence is not quite ready to output because some of the audio and video clips do not meet appropriate broadcast specifications. In this lesson, you will learn how to fix these problems before outputting the sequence.
In the Browser, there are only three sequences but no clip icons. These sequences were not edited in this project they were copied from earlier projects and pasted into this project to use for outputting. If you want to access individual clips that were used in creating these sequences, you can create a new set of master clips.
4.
In the Browser, select the Racing Promo sequence. Choose Tools > Create Master Clips.
In the Browser, a new bin appears with a set of master clips that support just those clips you used in the selected sequence. These clips link back to the media files that were originally used to edit the sequence.
5.
Display the clips in the Master Clips For Racing Promo bin and double-click the biker down clip to open it in the Viewer.
Each clip is unmarked and is the full duration of the media file.
NOTE
You can create master clips this way for any sequence in any project.
