Add another page

Let's add a web page with a QuickTime movie. Make sure you've already copied a QuickTime movie to the Movies folder on your iDisk. See Chapter 3 for information about editing a movie and exporting it as a streaming QuickTime file for the Internet.

  1. Click the "Add" button beneath the "Pages" column (shown on the previous page). In the "Select a theme" page that opens, click the iMovie tab, then select a design theme.

  2. Customize the text in the theme's text boxes, then click the "Choose" button below the QuickTime window to open the "Choose a file" page, shown on the following page.

  3. From the "Choose a file" window, select a QuickTime movie that has been copied to the Movies folder on your iDisk. Click "Choose" to place the selected movie on the iMovie page, as shown below.

  4. After the QuickTime movie is selected, a window opens (below). You can make additional changes here, or click the "Publish" icon to publish the page on the Internet.

  5. When you click "Publish," a dialog box opens asking you whether you want to visit the new page or return to HomePage.

  6. Return to HomePage and notice the new page has been added to the list in the "Pages" column (below). To determine which page is the first page of the site, drag a page name to the top of the list. Bold text indicates the first page a visitor will see.

If you've added another site (page 288), the Pages list becomes a Sites list.

If you have multiple sites listed in the first column, setting a password affects only the selected site in the list.
