Using Test Simulation Mode

When you have completed your DVD project (and anytime throughout the development process), you should test your DVD's playback look and capabilities. At any point, click the Play/Preview button in the lower-right corner of the Palette window. The Palette window disappears, and a Remote Control appears, as shown in Figure A.9. This Remote functions the same way a standard DVD remote control works. Use it to make sure that all your links are working properly and that the right media assets appear when they should. Close the Remote Control to return to editing mode, continue building your project, and make any necessary changes, or, when everything works correctly, to wrap up the project.
