Using Telephony in Applications

To help control software usage, vendors ask purchasers to sign license agreements and then enforce these agreements through a number of different procedures. However, as the number and complexity of license agreements grows, the task of ensuring compliance has become overwhelming.

A number of software products can monitor application usage, and some of these applications can electronically enforce the terms of the license agreement. However, these products use diverse and sometimes incompatible electronic tracking mechanisms to manage and control the use of licensed applications in enterprise environments.
