Specification Generation Process

The following illustration shows the process of generating a BizTalk Server specification (XML schema) document from an IDoc structure.

A. BizTalk Adapter Manager uses DCOM Connector to access an IDoc structure from an SAP R/3 system.

B. DCOM Connector passes the IDoc structure to the BizTalk Adapter Manager.

C. BizTalk Adapter Manager converts the IDoc structure to a BizTalk Server document specification and stores it to a file for BizTalk Server to process.
