Chapter twenty-two. Jumping Directly to Other Programs

PHOTOSHOP IS OFTEN IN THE MIDDLE OF A WORKFLOW chain involving multiple programs. An image you edit in Photoshop may have come from digital-camera software or Adobe Camera Raw, and when you finish editing an image in Photoshop, you may be passing it on to a more specialized image editor such as Adobe ImageReady, or to a Web-site editor like Adobe GoLive or Dreamweaver.

Although your habit may be to close and open the document repeatedly as you switch from program to program, you can send a document from Photoshop to another program in one step from within Photoshop.
