SkypeOut Account Suspension: Error 9403, 9407, or 9408

If you receive error 9403, 9407, or 9408 (or other error codes beginning with 940) when making a SkypeOut call, it probably is because a creditcard transaction has been flagged automatically for antifraud verification. This does not mean that anyone thinks you are a criminal, but it does mean that your Skype account has been suspended temporarily from making SkypeOut calls.

To help Skype Technologies resolve this problem quickly, go to the Skype Customer Support site (http://support.skype.com), and submit a support request. To do this, follow these steps:

1.	Go to http://support.skype.com/?_a=tickets&_m=submit.
2.	In the Department field, select Error 9403 or Error 9407.
3.	Type a message.
4.	It is strongly advised that you provide the following information: Skype Name Full name Primary contact e-mail First four and last four digits of the credit card used to make your SkypeOut purchase Name of cardholder as printed on the credit card Issuing country of credit card If this information is not accessible, or if you used an alternative payment method, you can send detailed information about the payment.
5.	Click Submit.
