SkypeOut Call Failure: Error 1040x or 1050x

If you receive error 10404 or 10504 (Mac users: 1040 or 1050) when making calls, it probably is because the SkypeOut number you dialed was not valid or you did not follow the international format for dialing numbers.

The correct format for SkypeOut is + country code area code number.

Here is an example:

The country code is 1; the area code is 650; and the number is 5551212.
