Instead of formatting individual words in your document, you can apply changes to entire paragraphs to help certain sections of your text to stand out. You can apply formatting such as line spacing, bullets, or borders to the paragraphs in your document to enhance the appearance of the document.
You can change the alignment of various paragraphs in your document to enhance the document’s appearance.
You can align text with the left or right margins, center it between the left and right margins, or justify it so that the text aligns with both the left and right margins. To align text vertically, see Chapter 7.
Select the text that you want to align.
Click an alignment option.
The Align Left icon () aligns text with the left margin, the Center icon (), centers it between the left and right margins, the Align Right icon () aligns it with the right margin; and the Justify icon () aligns text with both the left and right margins.
