The Absolute Minimum

Now that you've read this chapter along with Chapters 3 and 4, you've learned the most commonly used editing techniques that you'll need in Quattro Pro.

  • In this chapter, you learned how to automatically fill a range with numbers using the Fill Series dialog box.

  • Using the Cell Names dialog box, you learned how to assign names to ranges so that you can refer to a range using its name instead of cell addresses.

  • Using the Find and Replace feature, you learned how to quickly change all occurrences of information you specify.

  • You learned how to use QuickCorrect and the spell-checking features in Quattro Pro.

You've now finished the basics of Quattro Pro; in the next chapter, you move on to intermediate topics, beginning with printing.
