The success of your Microsoft Windows 2000 implementation depends on your plan for implementing and configuring Active Directory directory service. This chapter assists you in planning your Active Directory implementation. It walks you through the steps of installing Active Directory using the Active Directory Installation Wizard, shows you how to implement an organizational unit (OU) structure, and presents procedures for setting OU properties. The chapter then introduces you to configuring site settings and inter-site replication after Active Directory is installed.
