Answers

1.

When you export a master, a duplicate of the original file that was initially imported into Aperture is exported to the location of your choice. When you export a version, any edits that you've made are applied to the original master image, and the resulting file is exported in the format that you specify.

2.

You can open the Aperture Library by using the Show Package Contents command in the Finder, and then copying the original files from the package to another location.

3.

You can back up projects to a CD or DVD by exporting them using the Export Project command, and then copying the duplicate projects to a CD or DVD and burning it.

4.

When you create or update a vault, your entire Library is backed up. The Export Project command allows you to back up individual projects.
