Chapter 10. Using Adobe Acrobat 7.0 ProfessionalAdobe has taken Acrobat to the next level, adding more features and addressing performance and user interface issues. Adobe has divided the program into two main versions, Standard and Professional, but this chapter covers the Professional version that is part of the Premium version of Adobe Creative Suite. PDF (Portable Document Format), or .pdf, is a file type you see almost anywhere on the Web. This fabulous format is easily read by any computer system. If you don't have Reader, you can download it free. Many web designers use Acrobat to create their PDF files, add forms to their websites, and add a reviewing/commenting system to multiple-page documents. Additionally, designers and printers can use Acrobat 7.0 Professional to preflight and touch up files for final printing.
