CHALLENGES

  1. Modify the Rock, Paper and Scissors game so that the player can get instructions if needed by adding another button to the form and displaying the help text in the txtoutput TextBox control.

  2. As it is currently written, the game does not clearly distinguish when the player fails to make a move within the allotted time period (a half-second). Modify the game so that if the player fails to make a move in the allotted time frame, the game displays a message explaining to the player to be faster.

  3. The 1.5-second countdown is meant to simulate the amount of time that it typically takes for two players to sync up when manually playing a game of Rock, Paper and Scissors. The additional half-second delay is intended to provide a small window in which the player must quickly select his move. Because this game pits the player against the computer, the introduction of the artificial time constraints is unnecessary. However, the time delay is key to giving the game a realistic feel. Experiment with different time delays and see if you can adjust things to make the game even more lifelike.
