Specifies an alternative command interpreter to be used in place of the MSDOS subsystem.

Syntax

 shell=[[drive:]path] filename [parameters] 

Parameters
Parameter	Purpose
[[drive:]path] filename	Specifies the drive, path, and file name of the alternative command interpreter.
[parameters]	Provides any command-line parameters required by the alternative command interpreter.
