What You ve Learned

What You've Learned

  • A project folder contains all dependent files associated with a given song, organized in folders of the same file type.

  • The Arrange window's Track List displays only a portion of the available Objects within the Environment.

  • Creating a duplicate of a track that is record-enabled quickly sets you up to capture the next take.

  • Logic gives first priority to the track currently recording when multiple tracks are set to the same outputs.

  • Logic can automatically create tracks and takes within a cycle Region for hands-free recording.

  • Recording multiple audio tracks requires that you set the tracks to separate inputs.

  • Logic handles the routing of MIDI and audio when recording both types simultaneously.

  • MIDI tracks can be multitracked via layering sounds or with multiple MIDI controller inputs triggering separate sounds.

  • Using the Create Multiple command not only creates new tracks in the Arrange window, but allows you to quickly create and assign Audio Objects within the Environment as well.

  • Unused tracks can be deleted individually or all at once using the Delete Unused command.
