INPUT DEFINED


Input is defined as anything that goes into a computer in the form of data, graphics, commands, or sounds. Devices used to place or feed information into a computer, such as a keyboard or a mouse, are called input devices. Many devices can serve as both input and output devices, including hard disks, diskettes, and writable CD-ROMs. The main input devices used today and addressed on the CompTIA A+ core test are described below.
