Moving Forward

In the next chapter, I take you through the one issue that comes to mind first when many people think about usability: screen and window layout. There, I talk about what you need to think about when laying out controls on your windows, when creating dialogs, when making keyboard shortcuts relating to windows, and a lot of other great topics.

As you move forward, however, remember that usability extends far beyond just the obvious user interface. That’s why in this book I devote only one chapter exclusively to organizing controls on your screen. See you there!
