Managing and Storing Your Code
To store all the program elements, such as projects, packages, classes, and methods, Workspace is automatically loaded. The Workspace is stored as a single file (IDE.icx). Your code is stored in a larger database called the repository, which contains other program elements in a defined state, or edition. You can add these program elements to the Workspace if you need to use them. The Workspace stores the byte codes of the programs with which you are working, and the repository stores the source code for the program elements in the Workspace, as well as all other elements not currently in the Workspace.
