Chapter 4.  Macros and Visual Studio Extensibility


The Macro Explorer (shown in Figure 4.1) provides quick access to available macros, and allows you to access the Macro IDE.

If you right-click the Macros root in the Macro Explorer, you can select from loading or creating a new macro project or opening the Macros IDE. Select individual macro modules to rename or unload the module, add a new module, or designate a particular module as the recording module. Select a macro procedure in a module to run, edit, rename, or delete an individual macro.
