 | The title of this chapter, "Show Me the Way," is an obvious tribute to musician Peter Frampton. I feel that I owe him this tribute because one day I received an email from a reader of one of my other books leading me to a website about Peter Frampton. On the site, Peter names his favorite movies, books, albums, etc., and among his favorite books he listed my book Photoshop Down & Dirty Tricks. Of course, being a Frampton fan myself, I was really tickled, and learning this has changed my life in immeasurable ways. For example, if Peter Frampton (who is currently touring, by the way) is appearing in concert at any nearby venue, I can just drop by the box office, pay the admission price, and they'll give me a ticket to his upcoming performance. Not only that, but if I go to the local record store and try to buy any Peter Frampton CD (including his classic "Frampton Comes Alive" double-album set), they'll let me. No questions asked. All I have to present is my ID and credit card. How cool is that? |
