FOCUSING ATTENTION USING COLOR

You've seen this effect done over and over again in commercials. Here's a quick technique to focus attention using color. Open an image. Press Shift-Command-U (PC: Shift-Control-U) to Desat-urate the image. Choose the History Brush from the Toolbox. Open the History palette and click on the column to the left of the History State that says "Open." Now simply paint back in the areas you wish to remain full color.
