Define Stroke and Fill for Type

By default, type has a fill color but no stroke color . If you add a visible stroke, type becomes thick and sometimes a bit ugly. But you can experiment with different stroke and fill colors and attributes to create some interesting text effects. If you assign a stroke but no fill to text, the text appears outlined, as shown in Figure 9-7.

You can assign stroke and fill attributes to type just as you would to any path , using the Eyedropper or Paint Bucket tool.
