Chapter 15: Sharing

Overview

One thing almost all PowerPoint users have in common is the need to make presentations available to other users or other computers. If you look through the case studies in this book, almost all of them include moving presentations from one computer to another.

Sharing presentations can be easy if you take the time to learn about what you are doing and prepare for the presentation move. If you don't prepare for the move, sharing presentations can be a real pain!

In October of 2003, Microsoft did something that made every PowerPoint users life much easier: They released a new Viewer for the first time since 1997.

The PowerPoint Viewer for 2003 supports almost every PowerPoint feature, action, animation and effect used in PowerPoint 2002 or 2003. If using an older version of PowerPoint to create the presentation, use the older viewer instead of the 2003 viewer.
