Appendix A. RF and Infrared

Radio frequency (RF) and infrared (IR) are two of the older ways that Apple computers have been able to wirelessly communicate with each other and with peripherals. At this point, they're both on their way out, which is why they only rate an appendix in this book. But, because some of of what this book covers is not-quite-here-yet technology, IR and RF may still have a place on your Mac.
