Chapter 3. Making the Wi-Fi Connection


In Chapter 2, we discussed making the wireless connection on the client side. In this chapter, we'll discuss some networking basics: using and configuring wireless base stations to connect to the Internet, turning your Mac into a software base station using Internet Sharing, using wireless bridges to your wired Ethernet network, and extending the range of your wireless network using additional base stations as repeaters.
