Copying and Pasting Font Styles

Another handy timesaving feature is Keynote's ability to copy and paste font styles, which includes most formatting that you have applied to text, including the font, font size , color , and character spacing, though not the line spacing or horizontal or vertical alignment. See Table 4.1 for a list of which text attributes can and can't be copied .

To copy and paste font styles

1.
Select the text that has the formatting you want to copy.

2.
Choose Format > Copy Style, or press .

3.
Select the destination text.

4.
Choose Format > Paste Style, or press .

Tip

  • Some text attributes that usually don't copy will copy and paste if you select the text box (not the text inside the box) before you paste the style.
