Summary

This chapter covered remote access VPN design and configuration solutions. The design part defines the remote access VPN design objectives, considerations, and architectural guidelines. The configuration part is focused primarily on using the Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator as a core termination device and VPN clients based upon the Cisco Unity VPN client, the Hardware Client, the Easy VPN Client, and PIX-based clients.
