IN THIS CHAPTER:

32 About Interactivity

33 Create a Multimedia Link

34 Create a Navigation Link

35 Create a Menu Action Link

36 Create a Custom Button

37 Edit a Link

Adobe Acrobat provides you with the tools to create a PDF that readers can interact with. Readers can click a link that plays a song or movie, a link to another page in a different PDF, or a link that takes them to a web page on the Internet.

Adding interactivity is a relatively simple process of creating a link that either plays a sound or movie or that performs some other action. These links can be as basic as a navigation link that plays a sound before taking the reader to the next page or as ambitious as an entire multimedia tutorial in a single PDF, with branching lessons based on choices the reader makes.
