As we saw in Chapter 8, FitNesse is a wiki-based system for creating, organizing, and running Fit tests. FitNesse is based on a Web server, making it easy to share Fit test tables among many people working on a project. FitNesse converts the page into HTML before passing it to Fit for running and displays the report generated by Fit through the browser. In this chapter, we discuss how to install FitNesse and support nonprogrammers. We show how to use virtual wiki pages with FitNesse to allow developers to access Fit tables from a shared server and test them against code on their own machines. |
