Creates a new boot sector on the system partition. Useful if the boot sector has been damaged.
Type FIXBOOT. This will create a new boot sector on the partition that you are logged on to. If you want to create a boot sector on a different drive, enter the drive letter followed by a colon after FIXBOOT and a space. For example, to create a new boot sector on the E: drive, type:
