About the Author

Jacob Rosenberg is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker and Adobe Premiere expert. Jacob has worked extensively with the Premiere software development team for over ten years. Over the last two years, Jacob has made a name for himself in the post-production community spearheading cutting-edge high definition workflows using desktop computers and Adobe software. Jacob served as the online editor and online supervisor for the feature film Dust to Glory, which utilized an all-Adobe workflow and generated a 35mm film print from an HD Premiere project. Currently, Jacob serves as the online editor and digital intermediate supervisor for the independent film Lbs. Jacob also recently directed a music video for singer/songwriter John Gold, shot and edited in high-definition video using the software included in Adobe Production Studio.

Jacob got his start in high school by filming and editing skateboard videos. After graduating from Emerson College, Jacob moved to L.A. and began his film career. Today, he is an accomplished independent filmmaker having directed national commercials, music videos, and several short films. Jacob moonlights as the host of an acclaimed DVD training series, Total Training for Adobe Premiere Pro.
