How To Read This Book

 < Day Day Up >

The chapters have been laid out in a general sequence that should make sense for most readers; however, they have also been written in such a way that if you want to find out about a specific subject, you can go into the relevant chapter and read it without much reference to earlier material. In whatever way you read it, though, heed this point: Make sure you know the meaning of the basic words being used. Contrary to common belief, it is bad practice to try to figure out word meanings from the general context. You will get it wrong more than half the time and end up with an incorrect idea. So, use the glossary at the back and crack open a dictionary or computer dictionary when necessary to clear up the definition of terms being used. That is the surest way to guarantee full comprehension.

Good reading!
