Guangzhou port, the third largest in China, is a distribution centre for goods and materials and a hub of international trade for the Pearl River Delta area and southern China. The port maintains trade relations with over 170 countries and regions and over 500 international ports. Guangzhou is also one of the key railway hubs in southern China. Guangzhou Baiyun Airport is the third largest international airport in China, with 60 domestic and 12 international air routes. The city boasts 3788.2 kilometres of highway network, offering access to over 97 per cent of the places in Guangdong province and major cites of China. Postal services reach over 190 countries and regions. The city has a sophisticated modern telecommunications system. DDD can reach more than 1,700 cities and townships in China while IDD connects the city with over 200 countries and region in the world.
