There are more than 50 ports along the coastline of Zhejing province, of which Ningbao, Wenzhou, Shenjiamen and Haimen are open to foreign ships. The port of Ningbo is the largest of the four. Zhejiang has a dense network of rivers and canals, serving as a key means of inland water transportation. The province is networked with the national and regional railway systems. New railways are planned to improve further the province 's rail transport capability. Zhejiang has a good highway system and seven civil airports, of which Hangzhou, Ningbo and Wenzhou are international. Hangzhou airport can accommodate large jet planes such as Boeing 747s and there are direct flights to international destinations.
