As we said earlier in the book, you should decide how your newsletter will be distributed and design it accordingly. For example, full-color offset printing is very expensive, so you might need to limit the use of color to one or two spot colors to stay within your budget.

For our newsletter, we decided early on that ours would be distributed via email for on-screen viewing. This allowed us to create a design without cost limitations.
