Looking Ahead

In this chapter, you learned how to create a Web page that allows users to enter data into a database. You created a simple page that allowed you to view the data that visitors entered. As I said at the beginning of the chapter, the display page you created was just a quick effort that you would be able to use while testing the guestbook. In Chapter 11, you ll delve more deeply into displaying data from your database. I ll introduce you to controls that allow you to create nicer-looking output that you ll be proud to display on your Web site.
