Hour 25. Using FrontPage 2003 for Web Page Design and Creation

Hour 25. Using FrontPage 2003 for Web Page Design and Creation

With FrontPage 2003, you can create and edit your own Web pages as well as manage your entire Web site. Although you can create Web pages with Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, FrontPage takes your Web pages to a much higher level of performance and design than the other products can provide.

FrontPage 2003 works much like a word processor with advanced graphics-placement abilities for any Web pages you want to develop or edit. Not only can you create and edit your own Web pages, but you can edit Web pages of others that appear on the Internet. (You won't be able to put the edited content back on another's Web site, however, unless you have permission to do so.)

The highlights of this hour include

  • How FrontPage hides the job of HTML coding from your Web-page designing job

  • Where to store Web pages

  • How to use FrontPage's tools to edit Web pages

  • When and why you adjust the relationship between text and pictures so both go well together on the same area of the Web page

  • How to add a background image or graphic pattern to the Web pages you create
