Download a game (Windows)

The Internet is full of games you can download for free or for a few bucks. Go to www.palmone.com/software and browse the games until you find one you like that offers a free trial. After you download it, open Palm^® Desktop software and click the Quick Install icon. Add the new game and sync to copy it to your handheld.

View photos

You can sync photos from your computer onto your handheld and then view and arrange them. Bring a complete photo album along when you travel, or use it for business product shots or staff pictures. If your digital camera uses SD cards, put one into the card slot of your handheld, and presto! You have an instant photo viewer. Your installation CD includes Palm^® Photos for free.

• Be sure to install Kinoma from Software Essentials, too, so you can watch video that's been converted to fit your handheld screen.

• Photos has a neat slide show feature. To create your own slide shows, see Chapter 13.
