Rolling Back Stored Procedures

You can execute a ROLLBACK command in a stored procedure; however, the rollback works differently from the ROLLBACK discussed in the trigger section earlier on. In the case of a stored procedure rollback, if the rollback is in a member of a stored procedure chain or nest, only the outermost transaction will be rolled back. The execution of the remaining stored procedures in the nest continues.
