Moving from VB6

Many readers of this book are likely to be moving to Visual Basic .NET from Visual Basic 6.0. You will therefore be intimately familiar with the Forms engine that made VB a popular programming language and RAD tool. WinForms borrows much that was useful from the VB6 Forms engine and at the same time provides new, more powerful tools to augment your programming toolbox.
