Preparing the Project

To organize this project, you will create bins for clips and drag clips into those bins. After doing this several times, it will become a natural habit to look at your project elements and make sure they are organized or grouped together in an efficient, logical manner. Review Lesson 3 for additional details regarding these steps.

1.	In the Browser, create two new bins.
2.	Name one bin Unmarked Clips and the other Viewing and Marking.
3.	Drag the following four clips into the Unmarked Clips bin: blue ws dumbbells, golfer putts, skater ecu, and yoga mat.
4.	Drag the remaining video clips into the Viewing and Marking bin. Leave the music clip and sequence standing alone for this exercise.
5.	For this exercise, choose Window > Arrange and select Standard from the submenu to view the interface in the standard layout.
6.	Play the Marking sequence in the Timeline to see some of the clips you will be marking. Note In this lesson, you will focus on just playing and marking source clips. In the next lesson, you will create this sequence.
