Preparing the Project

You will begin by clicking the Final Cut Express HD icon in the Dock to launch the application and then opening the Lesson 4 Project file. If you are continuing from the previous lesson, you can jump to step 2.

1.	Single-click the Final Cut Express HD icon in the Dock.
2.	From the main menu, choose File > Open and navigate to the Lessons folder as you did in Lesson 3.
3.	Select the Lesson 4 Project file and click Choose.
4.	In the Browser, select any other open project tabs, such as the Lesson 3 Project tab, and choose File > Close Project.
5.	Take a moment to organize your project elements for Lesson 4 as you did in the previous lesson by dragging clips into their appropriate bins.
