Summary

In this chapter you examined the deployment and undeployment methods for J2EE applications. First, we showed why and how to create a dedicated OC4J container for an application. Next, we used the ASC tool to manually deploy an application to that container. We also showed how to redeploy and undeploy the application with the ASC. Next, we covered manual deployments, redeployments, and undeployments with the dcmctl utility. Finally, you saw how you could use some of the ASC utility pages to modify settings of an application.
