The Accredited Integration Specialist (AIS) competencies were defined by a group of subject-matter experts who specialize in HP ProLiant servers and associated technologies.

This appendix provides a high-level overview of the competencies identified by this group of experts for an individual seeking to achieve the HP ProLiant AIS-level credential. Each of the competencies identified below has been defined in greater detail by the HP technical training and certification teams and has been used as the foundation for building the technical training and certification materials that support the AIS credential.

Important: This book does not cover all the competencies listed here. To prepare for the AIS exam, use this book as a resource in your preparation, but also attend the HP hands-on trainings, complete the labs, and ensure you meet the recommendations for industry experience.
