To record database and application pool settings: Display the SharePoint Central Administration page in the browser. Click Configure virtual server settings choose the virtual server from the displayed list Manage content database choose the database from the displayed list. The browser displays the database settings as shown in Figure A-1. Repeat these steps for each virtual server on the physical server. Use the Remote Desktop utility to log on to the server hosting the site. From the server's Start menu, choose Adminstrative Tools Internet Information Services (IIS). Properties Home Directory to display the application pool setting (for example, StsAppPool1 ).
