Where to Go from Here

As you have probably learned from spending time on the Internet, there's always something new to learn. Once you've finished this book, play around with your podcasts. Try some new things, explore your interests, take some chances. Keep up with the community because you'll continue to learn as long as you have contact with other podcasters.

We learned quite a bit from each other while doing this book. You don't podcast in a vacuumif you try to, you'll stagnate. It's a fascinating and fun culture, and we encourage anyone who's interested to give it a try. We want to leave you with the following sage advice:

"It doesn't matter what equipment you have at all. You can throw 10 pounds [$17] at your equipment setup, you can throw 10,000 pounds ($17,000) at your setup. I think it is all about what your content is, really. What we do is all on a bit of paper. As long as you spend time writing stuff down, I think that is the most important thing. The most important piece of equipment in a podcasting setup is a pen and a bit of paper."
